Coincidentally, moving faster while things stay the same.

While I plagiarize everything that’s real,

Spent some time by the waterhole,
Am I lying if I’ve seen it all?

So fucking narcissistic,
Repeat to me, “Parasitic”.
So self-centered,
Potent poison, paralytic.

I botched the burglary, a surgical maneuver gone awry.
I spoke with courtesy, dishonesty reflected in my eyes.
Both bags of burgundy, hung beneath my eyes like sacks of flesh;
Staring back at me, was a vision of moral distress.

I see my own reflection, but to my horror
it’s not mine.
